Dr. Natalia Galin speaks at Women Who Lead, Queenstown

Our founder Dr. Natalia Galin spoke at Women Who Lead in Queenstown.

Her speech, "The Easy Part", starts with a simple bracket that took days to design and weeks to get machined. From there it asks how a country that could make things forgot how, and argues that capability is built by staying with hard work, not by redefining achievement downward.

Accepted into Onshape's Hardware Startup Program

Galin Engine Limited has been accepted into Onshape's Hardware Startup Program.

Onshape is supporting our engineering journey by providing a full one-year Professional subscription with up to five seats, giving us access to their complete suite of CAD, rendering, simulation and PDM tools.

This is a game-changer for our startup, providing enterprise-level design capabilities that would typically be out of reach for an early-stage hardware company. Cloud-based collaborative CAD will accelerate our product development and enable seamless teamwork as we scale.

Huge thanks to the Onshape team for believing in hardware startups and making professional-grade engineering tools accessible to entrepreneurs.

Awarded the Ārohia Evidence Grant from Callaghan Innovation

We have been awarded the prestigious Ārohia Evidence Grant from Callaghan Innovation.

This grant recognises our innovative work at Galt Industry and will help us gather crucial evidence as we prepare for the next stage of commercialisation.

At Galt Industry we are revolutionising on-demand electricity generation for remote applications such as generators, and off-grid applications such as drones, boats and vehicles.

We are grateful to Callaghan Innovation for believing in our vision and supporting New Zealand's innovation ecosystem, and to our supporters who have made this possible.
